Amazing original electricity projects built by 4th graders!
Dec. 6, 2022
Fourth-graders at Yacolt Primary designed original electricity projects in November to demonstrate their understanding of circuitry. The projects were part of a larger science unit on energy. Creations ranged from a light-up barn to a hat with a light and propeller–and many, many more innovative ideas! Check out a handful of them below.
Each student in Jessica Byrne’s class also had to present their project to their peers. Students discussed how their projects were created, as well as explained the source, receiver, switch and path. In addition to learning about electricity, students gained public speaking experience, confidence and skills in providing feedback to one another.
